Privacy, made clear

Your data should work for your performance—not against your privacy.

This policy explains what MACRIVA may collect, why it is used, and the choices available to you when using our athlete nutrition and performance services.

Effective October 12, 2026

1. Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, this may include account and contact details, age range, height, weight, goals, training schedule, nutrition targets, meal entries, food photos, feedback, referral activity, and support messages.

2. Camera, photos, and nutrition analysis

Camera or photo-library access is used only when you choose to scan a meal. Selected images may be sent securely to our analysis service to estimate food portions, calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat. Estimates can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before saving.

3. Health and fitness data

If you later choose to connect Apple Health or Health Connect, MACRIVA will request only the categories required for the feature you enable. Permission is optional and can be revoked in your device settings. We do not use health data for targeted advertising.

4. Device, usage, and purchase data

We may process app version, device type, language, diagnostic events, feature interactions, crash information, and coarse network information to operate and improve the service. Subscription status and transaction identifiers may be received from Apple or Google; full payment-card details are handled by the store and are not stored by MACRIVA.

5. How information is used

  • Provide meal tracking, personalized targets, progress views, coaching, and referrals.
  • Authenticate users, synchronize data, and protect accounts.
  • Validate subscriptions, prevent fraud, and deliver support.
  • Monitor reliability, improve accessibility, and develop features.
  • Meet legal, security, and store-policy obligations.

6. Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by carefully selected infrastructure, analytics, crash-reporting, customer-support, nutrition-analysis, and payment-verification providers acting on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect safety and rights, or during a business transaction with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal or health information.

7. Retention and security

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, including legal, fraud-prevention, backup, and accounting needs. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You may correct profile information, change permissions, export available data, or request deletion. Rights vary by location and may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

MACRIVA is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age.

10. International processing and updates

Information may be processed in countries other than your own with safeguards required by applicable law. We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change and will revise the effective date or provide additional notice when appropriate.
